Occupational Therapist (OT)
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients to improve their independence, functional abilities, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, and function.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional skills.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive techniques as needed.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home-care programs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Active OT license as required by state regulations.
- Previous clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong patient assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
