Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, and functional limitations. The OT will develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence, mobility, daily living skills, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and functional skills.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, and feeding.
  • Provide training in adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and home safety.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and functional strategies.
  • Recommend appropriate adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
  • Maintain accurate evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, patient safety, and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation, functional mobility, ADL training, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NBCOT certification preferred/required as applicable.
  • Experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient, SNF, home health, or long-term care settings.
  • Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, post-surgical, or medically complex patients.
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Pay Rate
$39.00 - $44.00/hour
