Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat patients with physical, neurological, cognitive, and developmental conditions. The Occupational Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to help patients achieve maximum independence in daily activities and improve their overall quality of life.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional abilities
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), upper extremity function, fine motor skills, coordination, balance, and cognitive performance
  • Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment, splints, orthotics, and assistive devices
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, energy conservation, joint protection, and fall prevention
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
  • Promote patient independence through compassionate, patient-centered rehabilitation care

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current NBCOT certification required (where applicable)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Occupational Therapy experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, rehabilitation techniques, anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication, documentation, critical-thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
