Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with physical, cognitive, developmental, or emotional conditions that impact their ability to perform daily activities. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to maximize patient independence, functional abilities, and overall quality of life.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments to identify patient needs and establish treatment goals
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses, functional limitations, and rehabilitation goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), upper extremity function, coordination, strength, cognition, and sensory processing
• Recommend, train, and educate patients on the use of adaptive equipment, assistive devices, splints, and environmental modifications
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal functional outcomes
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards, patient safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Promote patient independence, functional recovery, and overall well-being through evidence-based occupational therapy practices
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities to maintain clinical competency


Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Occupational Therapist experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, rehabilitation techniques, anatomy, and functional assessment methods
• Excellent clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care

Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
