Job Details
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide comprehensive therapy services to patients with physical, cognitive, developmental, or functional limitations. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve independence, functional abilities, and quality of life. The ideal candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe and effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, coordination, strength, and independence
• Assist patients with adaptive techniques, equipment recommendations, and safety strategies
• Provide training and education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home programs
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches to achieve optimal functional outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
• Participate in discharge planning and recommend appropriate continued care or support services
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards
• Promote patient-centered care and support patients in achieving maximum independence
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current NBCOT certification preferred/required per facility requirements
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of Occupational Therapy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, functional assessments, and therapeutic interventions
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based patient care
Pay Rate
$60.28 - $65.16/hour
