Registered Nurse (RN) – Obstetrics/Med-Surg
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to patients in an Obstetrics and Medical-Surgical setting. The RN will care for obstetric and medical-surgical patients, monitor conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.
- Provide care to obstetric, postpartum, and medical-surgical patients.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and report changes promptly.
- Assist with labor, delivery, postpartum care, and related procedures as needed.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, recovery, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous Obstetrics, Med-Surg, or acute care experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Knowledge of obstetric and medical-surgical nursing practices.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$79.52 - $84.40/hour
