Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The NP will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions while promoting preventive care and patient education across diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses across the lifespan.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments in accordance with state regulations and scope of practice.
- Perform minor office procedures within scope of practice.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, infection prevention protocols, and facility policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice.
- National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the applicable specialty (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, occupational health, or specialty practice.
- ACLS certification preferred based on practice setting.
- Experience managing chronic disease, preventive care, and health promotion.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Pay Rate
$125.25 - $130.13/hour
