Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Family Practice

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient clinical setting. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule of three days per week, with weekday and Saturday options available. The NP will manage patients across the lifespan, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan
• Perform physical examinations and health assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with scope of practice
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and health maintenance
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
• Support a patient-centered, culturally sensitive care environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
• Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner specialization
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical NP experience required
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) preferred
• Women’s health experience preferred
