Night Nursing Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Night Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff during the night shift.
- Assign duties and manage staffing according to patient needs.
- Monitor patient care, safety, and clinical conditions.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with physicians.
- Ensure medications, treatments, and documentation are completed accurately.
- Monitor availability of emergency equipment and supplies.
- Address patient, staff, and operational concerns.
- Maintain accurate shift reports and ensure proper handover.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and infection-control standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active RN/Nursing license as required by regulations.
- Previous nursing experience required.
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Good clinical judgment and emergency response skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of patient safety and infection-control practices.
Pay Rate
$66.57 - $71.44/hour
