Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU / Nursery
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Nursery settings. The RN will deliver family-centered, developmentally appropriate care to neonates ranging from healthy newborns to critically ill infants, while collaborating closely with neonatologists, pediatric providers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to newborns, including high-risk and critically ill neonates
• Perform detailed assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in infant condition
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutritional support per provider orders
• Operate and monitor neonatal equipment such as incubators, ventilators, and monitors
• Support and educate families on infant care, feeding, bonding, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in care planning, rounds, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ensure adherence to neonatal safety, infection control, and clinical protocols
• Provide emotional support to families during hospitalization and transition to home
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Nursing degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
• Experience in NICU, Nursery, Mother-Baby, or pediatric nursing preferred
• BLS required; NRP required or preferred
• Strong neonatal assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and family-centered care abilities
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
