Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) to perform accurate laboratory testing and support patient diagnosis and treatment. The MT/MLT will process specimens, perform testing, maintain equipment, and ensure reliable laboratory results.
Responsibilities
Receive, identify, and prepare patient specimens for testing.
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests according to established procedures.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Analyze and verify test results for accuracy.
Perform quality control testing and document results.
Identify and report abnormal or critical results as required.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Maintain adequate supplies and report equipment or testing issues.
Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
MT/MLS or MLT certification as applicable to the role and state requirements.
Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred.
Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality control, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a clinical labo
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
