Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT)

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) to perform laboratory testing that supports accurate diagnosis and patient care. The role involves processing specimens, operating laboratory equipment, maintaining quality standards, and accurately documenting test results.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, receive, identify, and process patient specimens.
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests according to established procedures.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Review and verify test results for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform quality control testing and address discrepancies or equipment issues.
  • Prepare reagents and maintain adequate laboratory supplies.
  • Document test results and maintain accurate laboratory records.
  • Report critical or abnormal results according to established procedures.
  • Follow laboratory safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field, as applicable.
  • Current MT/MLT certification or state license as required.
  • ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, and safety procedures.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.

Pay Rate
$46.75 - $51.63/hour
