COTA – PACS

Provide skilled occupational therapy support under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and quality of life. The COTA will implement treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and monitor patient progress across assigned care settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments according to established care plans.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional mobility.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, coordination, and independence.
  • Train patients in adaptive techniques and use of assistive equipment.
  • Monitor patient response and progress during treatment.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and safety techniques.
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
  • Follow patient safety, infection control, and clinical standards.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or certification as required by the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Previous COTA experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different patient needs and care environments.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Pay Rate
$37.60 - $42.48/hour
