Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory testing and provide accurate results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other specimens.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Analyze and verify test results, reporting abnormal findings promptly.
- Follow quality control, safety, and infection control procedures.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate test results.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (MLT) or Bachelor's degree (MLS) in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Active MLT or MLS/MT certification or state license, as required.
- ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and specimen handling.
- Previous clinical or hospital laboratory experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$49.03 - $53.91/hour
