MFM Clinic Sonographer
Position Summary
Perform specialized ultrasound examinations for maternal-fetal medicine patients, providing high-quality diagnostic images to support the evaluation of maternal and fetal health.
Responsibilities
- Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations.
- Conduct detailed fetal anatomy, growth, and maternal assessments.
- Obtain accurate images, measurements, and Doppler studies as required.
- Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to clinical standards.
- Recognize and document significant findings for physician review.
- Maintain accurate and timely examination records.
- Follow patient safety, infection-control, and imaging protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the maternal-fetal medicine care team.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- ARDMS certification, preferably in OB/GYN.
- Current state licensure or certification as applicable.
- Previous obstetric/MFM ultrasound experience preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- BLS certification preferred/required as applicable.
Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
