Med/Surg RN
Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, monitor clinical changes, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patients’ physical and clinical conditions.
Monitor vital signs, oxygenation, and other clinical indicators.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care as required.
Perform wound care and other nursing procedures within scope of practice.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Assist patients with mobility, hygiene, and daily care needs.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Follow patient safety, infection control, and medical-surgical care standards.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Previous Medical-Surgical or acute care experience preferred.
Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required based on role requirements.
