Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor progress, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, vital signs, and symptoms.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care as needed.
- Perform wound care and other nursing procedures within scope of practice.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous Medical-Surgical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
