Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality care to adult medical-surgical patients. The RN will assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, monitor conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.
- Assist patients with mobility, activities of daily living, and recovery.
- Respond promptly to changes in condition and patient emergencies.
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and quality-care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license as required.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred.
- BLS certification preferred or required as applicable.
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing and patient care.
- Excellent clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
