Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Monitor patient status, administer treatments, and coordinate care to promote safe recovery and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs, labs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
- Provide wound care and post-operative nursing care.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge needs.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection-control, patient safety, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and active RN license in the applicable state.
- Previous Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong clinical, communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
Pay Rate
$57.80 - $62.68/hour
