Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg RN to provide safe and compassionate care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients’ conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care.
- Monitor for changes in patient condition and report concerns promptly.
- Perform wound care and other nursing procedures.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active RN license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Previous Med/Surg or acute-care experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong medication administration and IV therapy skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple patient needs.
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
