Med/Surg RN
Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, monitor recovery, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patients’ health status and clinical needs.
Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care as needed.
Perform wound care and other nursing procedures within scope of practice.
Recognize and report changes in patient condition promptly.
Assist patients with mobility, daily care, and recovery activities.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and clinical nursing standards.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Previous Medical-Surgical or acute care experience preferred.
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
BLS certification as required for the role.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
