Job Title: Med/Surg Nights RN
Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift to provide safe and effective care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will monitor patients, administer treatments, manage medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and monitor changes in condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatment.
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care.
- Assist with procedures and patient care activities.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Communicate patient needs and changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide care effectively during overnight shifts.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of general medical and post-operative patient care.
- BLS certification required or preferred based on facility requirements.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Strong assessment, communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
