Med/Surg Registered Nurse
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will perform assessments, administer treatments and medications, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs, labs, and changes in patient condition.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures.
- Assist patients with mobility, activities of daily living, and recovery.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in condition and emergencies.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices.
- Excellent assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
