Medical Unit Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe and quality care to patients in a medical unit. The RN will assess patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, monitor changes, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.
- Assist patients with mobility, personal care, and activities of daily living.
- Respond promptly to changes in condition and medical emergencies.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality-care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license as required.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous medical unit, Med/Surg, or acute care experience preferred.
- BLS certification preferred or required as applicable.
- Strong knowledge of medical nursing and patient care practices.
- Excellent clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
