Registered Nurse – Medical Oncology Clinic
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The Medical Oncology Clinic RN will assess patients, administer treatments, coordinate care, and educate patients and families throughout their cancer treatment journey.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor oncology patients before, during, and after treatment.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, medications, and IV therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor for treatment side effects and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
- Collaborate with oncologists and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS certification required; OCN certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of oncology nursing, chemotherapy administration, and patient education.
- Previous Medical Oncology, Infusion, or Outpatient Clinic experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$61.99 - $66.87/hour
