Medical Lab Technician / Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical Lab Technician, Medical Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform laboratory testing that supports accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. The role will process specimens, conduct testing, analyze results, maintain equipment, and follow laboratory quality standards.
Responsibilities
Receive, identify, and prepare patient specimens for laboratory testing.
Perform routine and specialized testing according to established procedures.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Analyze, verify, and report laboratory results accurately.
Perform quality control procedures and document findings.
Identify and communicate abnormal or critical results as required.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and specimen documentation.
Monitor supplies and maintain appropriate laboratory inventory.
Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot testing or equipment issues and report problems appropriately.
Collaborate with laboratory staff, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
MLT, MT/MLS, or equivalent certification as applicable to the role and state requirements.
Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred.
Knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, specimen handling, and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a clinical laboratory environment.
Pay Rate
$49.03 - $53.91/hour
