Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory testing that supports the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. The MLT will analyze patient specimens, operate laboratory equipment, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens.
• Collect, process, and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Analyze test results and report findings accurately and promptly.
• Follow laboratory quality control, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory tests and patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification or state license, as required.
• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and specimen handling.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Previous clinical laboratory or hospital laboratory experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$49.03 - $53.91/hour
