Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg
Position Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Monitor patient status, administer treatments, and support recovery while maintaining safe, high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.
- Assist patients with mobility, hygiene, and activities of daily living.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN license in the applicable state.
- Previous Med/Surg or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred/required as applicable.
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Pay Rate
$58.18 - $63.06/hour
