RN – Med/Surg
Position Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Monitor patient progress, administer treatments, and coordinate care to promote safe and effective recovery.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor vital signs and patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Provide wound care, pain management, and other bedside nursing care.
- Monitor for changes in condition and respond appropriately to patient needs.
- Assist with procedures and coordinate diagnostic testing as needed.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection-control and safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Med/Surg or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred/required as applicable.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Pay Rate
$58.18 - $63.06/hour
