Medical-Surgical / Emergency Department (Med-Surg/ED) Registered Nurse
We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical / Emergency Department (Med-Surg/ED) Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced acute care and emergency settings while ensuring patient safety and positive clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to medical-surgical and emergency department patients.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform patient assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Assist with emergency procedures, patient stabilization, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing, emergency care, patient assessment, and critical thinking.
- Previous Med-Surg, Emergency Department, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
