Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
Provide safe and comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. The Med-Surg RN will assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, monitor clinical status, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and patient responses to treatment.
- Provide wound care and other skilled nursing interventions as needed.
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge needs.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and nursing standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
