Med-Surg Nurse
Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, monitor recovery, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and monitor changes in their condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress.
- Assist with pre- and post-operative care.
- Manage wounds, drains, and other routine patient care needs.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Follow infection control, safety, and patient care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, organization, and communication skills.
- BLS certification; additional certifications may be required based on unit requirements.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
