LTC RN – Long-Term Care Registered Nurse
Position Summary
Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. Monitor health conditions, administer treatments, coordinate care, and support residents’ safety, comfort, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents’ conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered.
- Provide wound care and assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Monitor vital signs, labs, and changes in resident condition.
- Recognize and respond to changes in health status and emergencies.
- Develop and update individualized care plans.
- Educate residents and families regarding care and health needs.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records.
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and quality-of-care standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate approach to resident-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
