Local Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Summary
Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to patients while working as part of the healthcare team. Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and support patients in achieving their healthcare goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress.
- Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.
- Support patients with activities of daily living as needed.
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and care plans.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Current and active LPN/LVN license in the applicable state.
- Previous clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$33.68 - $38.56/hour
