Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Local Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in collaboration with registered nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The LPN will administer medications, monitor patient conditions, perform treatments, and support patients in achieving optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established care plans and physician orders
- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments within the scope of LPN practice
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other nursing procedures
- Support patients with activities of daily living while promoting comfort and independence
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and health management
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Report changes in patient condition promptly and assist with appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
Pay Rate
$33.68 - $38.56/hour
