Job Title: Local Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. This role includes monitoring patient health, administering medications and treatments, documenting patient information, and supporting the healthcare team to deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the supervising healthcare provider
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with patient assessments and routine nursing procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and daily care needs
- Collaborate with physicians, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the applicable state required
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Previous clinical, long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Pay Rate
$33.68 - $38.56/hour
