Licensed Practical Nurse
Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide safe and compassionate nursing care under the direction of an RN or healthcare provider. The LPN will monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, assist with daily care needs, and support the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care according to the patient’s care plan.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
- Perform wound care and other nursing procedures as assigned.
- Report changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Educate patients and families on care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and patient care standards.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the applicable state.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Previous LPN or healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$22.66 - $27.53/hour
