Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Summary
Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or healthcare provider. Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and support daily patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient information.
- Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.
- Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and activities of daily living.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Educate patients and families on care instructions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Current LPN/LVN license in the applicable state.
- Previous clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
- BLS certification required/preferred as applicable.
- Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$34.25 - $39.13/hour
