Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Summary
Provide safe and compassionate nursing care under the direction of an RN or physician. Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and support daily patient care needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered.
- Provide wound care and assist with other clinical procedures.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort needs.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families on medications and basic care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Previous clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$29.69 - $34.57/hour
