Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The LPN will assist with patient assessments, administer medications, perform treatments, monitor patient conditions, and support the interdisciplinary healthcare team in delivering safe and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other nursing procedures within scope of practice.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Collect specimens and assist with diagnostic testing as needed.
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, medication administration, and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
Pay Rate
$25.13 - $30.01/hour
