Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The LPN will administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, assist with nursing procedures, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care according to individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and report changes to the supervising RN or physician
  • Administer prescribed medications, injections, IV therapies (where permitted by state regulations), and treatments
  • Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, hygiene, and comfort
  • Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and health management
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
  • Follow infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration, patient assessment, and basic nursing procedures
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in acute care, long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, outpatient, home health, or hospice settings
  • IV Therapy certification preferred (where permitted by state regulations)
  • Previous travel or contract nursing experience preferred
  • Strong teamwork, adaptability, and patient education skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required

Pay Rate
$27.60 - $32.48/hour
