Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The LPN will assist with patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and support the healthcare team in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care according to the established plan of care
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and report changes to the supervising RN or physician
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapies (where permitted), and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other nursing procedures
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Collect specimens and assist with diagnostic testing as needed
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and health maintenance
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, and patient safety standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication administration, patient assessment, and basic nursing procedures
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred

Pay Rate
$22.47 - $27.34/hour
