Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians. The LPN will assist with patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, nursing care plans, and facility policies
- Monitor patient conditions, obtain and document vital signs, and promptly report changes to the supervising Registered Nurse or provider
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, IV therapy (where permitted), and treatments within the scope of practice
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, health maintenance, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, Registered Nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and continuity of care
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
- Promote a compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Licensed Practical Nurse experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, medication administration, patient assessment, and clinical care practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred

Pay Rate
$26.46 - $31.34/hour
