Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents in a nursing home setting. The LPN works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Director of Nursing to ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate, and individualized care while maintaining compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess residents' health status and report changes in condition.
- Provide direct nursing care, including wound care and other basic nursing procedures.
- Accurately document resident assessments, treatments, and care provided.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (if required by facility).
Pay Rate
$37.48 - $42.36/hour
