Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN is responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, and assisting with daily nursing activities to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients/residents.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
Record accurate and timely patient documentation.
Assist with assessments and care planning.
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Supervise and assist CNAs and other support staff as assigned.
Educate patients and families on health-related topics.
Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications:
Active LPN/LVN license in the applicable state.
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Current BLS certification (if required by the facility).
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Previous experience in LTC, SNF, hospital, or clinic settings preferred.
Pay Rate
$26.46 - $31.34/hour
