Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care within an acute and rehabilitation setting. The LPN will assist patients with essential medical needs, perform routine assessments, support RN and provider directives, administer medications, monitor changes in condition, and ensure safe, compassionate, and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide basic nursing care including vital signs, patient comfort, and routine clinical tasks.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV fluids as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to supervising clinicians.
• Assist RNs and providers during examinations and procedures.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and care needs.
• Document all care activity accurately and in accordance with clinical standards.
• Perform wound care, catheterization, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Support a clean, safe, and patient-centered care environment.
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Completion of a state-approved LPN program and national licensure exam.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility.
• Flexibility to work long shifts and adapt to fast-paced clinical settings.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, wound care, medication administration, infection control, IV therapy, CPR/BLS, and documentation preferred.
Pay Rate
$32.52 - $37.40/hour
