Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Position Summary
Provide safe and compassionate direct care to patients under the direction of nurses and other healthcare professionals. Assist with daily activities, monitor patient needs, and support a safe and comfortable care environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
- Obtain and document vital signs as directed.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Support meal assistance and patient hydration as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
- Provide basic patient care according to established care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and patient-care standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program.
- Current and active LNA certification/license in the applicable state.
- Previous healthcare or patient-care experience preferred.
- Strong communication, compassion, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$25.32 - $30.20/hour
