Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The LNA will assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions, and support the healthcare team in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, and report changes in patient condition
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper body mechanics
- Maintain patient comfort and ensure a clean, safe, and organized care environment
- Collect specimens and perform delegated patient care tasks as permitted
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and routine nursing procedures
- Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Follow infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, and patient safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification or license in the state of practice
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent patient care experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic nursing care, infection prevention, and patient safety practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Pay Rate
$25.32 - $30.20/hour
