Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Local Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LNA will assist with activities of daily living, support patient mobility, monitor basic health indicators, and ensure patient comfort and safety in a hospital, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, and patient weights
• Assist patients with mobility, repositioning, transfers, and ambulation
• Provide basic bedside care and maintain patient comfort and dignity
• Assist with feeding and hydration support when necessary
• Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Support infection control, safety protocols, and patient privacy standards
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in the state of practice
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS certification preferred
• Minimum 6 months–1 year of patient care experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Ability to lift, turn, and reposition patients safely
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures preferred
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
Pay Rate
$17.00 - $17.65/hour
