LDRP Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced LDRP RN to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care. The RN will monitor maternal and fetal conditions, assist with deliveries, provide postpartum care, and support patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, vital signs, and pain levels.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries as needed.
- Provide immediate postpartum and newborn care.
- Recognize and respond to maternal or fetal complications and emergencies.
- Provide breastfeeding, newborn care, and discharge education.
- Support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and maternal-newborn care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia providers, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- LDRP, Labor & Delivery, postpartum, or maternal-child experience preferred.
- BLS and NRP certification preferred or required as applicable.
- Knowledge of fetal monitoring, labor management, postpartum, and newborn care.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$84.86 - $89.74/hour
